What is Zero Hour?
Beginning the week of August 31st, we will have Zero Hour on our campus. During Zero Hour (7:45-8:30 AM), students can receive tutoring /intervention for subjects from which they are struggling. Students can receive coaching for Academic UIL events, Gifted and Talented Workshop, or participate in various clubs on campus (i.e. National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, Cheer, etc.) Students arriving before 8:30 that do not participate in any of these activities will remain in the cafeteria/ 5th grade gym until 8:30. In the gym/cafeteria, students will be encouraged to read or work on their studies. We are excited to see our students grow as leaders and learners!
LVMS gets some TLC...
Another special thank you to Tom and the staff at Sun Hardware! They have been very helpful donating supplies and getting us organized for this project! Thanks! Our next scheduled campus beautification will be October 3rd when we will be planting flowers and bushes in the planters. If I forgot to thank anyone, please forgive me! I tried to remember everyone.
Now that's trust building...

Attention 5th grade parents:
I know that you've been used to walking your children into school in the morning, but we ask that you walk your students into the gym on the first day only. After the first day, we ask that you drop your student off in the car rider line and allow them to walk themselves into school.
