Busy Week of Band Events

Calendar for the week:

Monday, Sept. 10 - Band Booster meeting (MS & HS parents invited!) 7pm @ HS Band Room. You can use door A12 behind the HS gym/cafeteria for easy access.

Tuesday, Sept. 11 - HS Marching Band Rehearsal

Wednesday, Sept. 12 - 6th grade beginning band meeting, 6:30pm @ MS Cafeteria. We will have Meyer Music on site to rent/sell instruments. If you have an old instrument that you would like looked at, bring it to the meeting and Meyer Music will assess it for you.

Thursday, Sept. 13 - HS Volunteers needed to play Fight Song at tennis complex grand opening (3:15pm). Will not be very long.

Friday, Sept 14 - Home Football game! Full uniform. Also - HS band pictures for interested students/parents from 4:30-5:30pm. Group Picture @ 5:45pm.

Call time: 5:30pm

Practice with cheerleaders: 6pm

Warm-up: 6:20pm

Line-up: 6:35pm

March out: 6:40pm

Performance: 6:45pm

Gametime: 7:00pm

Approx. game end: 9:30pm

Students who need to leave for religious services will be dismissed after the pre-game show. They must be picked up at the HS band room by 7:30pm.

All other students will need to be picked up no later than 30 minutes after the game ends.

Saturday, Sept 15 - WMU Band Day

Another email will be sent this week with details. (WMU has not sent a schedule yet.) It is a night game on Saturday, so we will not be back until after midnight.

Middle School Uniform Help

This week we are planning to measure and place our 7th and 8th graders into their uniforms. Any middle school parent that is available is very welcome to help! Please contact Sherri Keene
