K-PREP
Please remember that you are required to read the following documents every year PRIOR to the training:
- Grade level Training Assessment Manual (TAM)
- Special Populations and Inclusion Document
- Administration Code Training Document
If you need copies of any of these documents, or would like to watch the training videos that the Kentucky Department of Education provides, you can do so at this website:
K-PREP specific documents:
http://education.ky.gov/AA/Assessments/Pages/K-PREP.aspx
Special Pops and Admin Code: http://education.ky.gov/AA/distsupp/Pages/AdminCode.aspx
If you have any questions about these documents or the upcoming training you can email me (kaet.barron@bullitt.kyschools.us) or text during Spring Break (610.420.3243). I know it's awful but I am definitely one of those people who never picks up the phone. I'd much rather text. We all have some aspect of our life that we are lazy in :)
APRIL/MAY Guidance
When guidance occurs it will be on Habit #7: Sharpen the Saw.
Balance Feels Best
I take care of my body by eating right, exercising, and getting sleep. I spend time with family and friends. I learn in lots of ways and lots of places, not just at school. I find meaningful ways to help others.
This will be the last of the seven habits and the last guidance lesson of the year.
Third-Fifth grade students will receive a quick lesson on K-Prep since they always have a million and one questions.
ABRI Data
- 3 Bus referrals (20 total for the school year)
- 9 Classroom referrals (2 disrespect/defiance, 2 Physical acts of aggression, 1 theft, and 4 technology violations. . .if you google "butts," Mrs. Tabler is going to catch you!)
- 52 total referrals for the current school year.
Previous year totals for August to March 31:
- 2014-2015: 55
- 2013-2014: 75
- 2012-2013: 72
- 2011-2012: 99
Our next ABRI meeting will be Wednesday, April 27 at 4 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend. During these meetings we look at the data more closely and discuss future plans.
Our triangle report for this school year still looks really good. Our goal is to have less than 3% of our population with 6 or more referrals. Currently we do not have any students with more than 4 referrals!
