Spring Closing 2018
Final Exams are May 4-10
Failure to depart within 24 hours of your last final exam will result in a $250 late checkout fee.
Any item confiscated throughout the semester by Residence Life must be picked up by 5:00pm on May 10 or it will be disposed of by Residence Life staff.
Additional dumpsters will be available starting May 1 for student use. Donation bins will be located around campus to collect unwanted clothing, non-perishable food items, and other reusable items. There will be boxes in Hunter and A-E. Students will be billed for removal of any trash/items left behind in their assigned residence hall area.
Students must reset the furniture in their room to how it was in August at move-in. This includes re-bunking the beds in all rooms in A-E. Failure to reset the room will result in an administrative fee.

24 Hour Quiet Hours
Repeat violations of the 24 hour quiet hour policy will be processed through the student conduct system and may result in a loss of housing for the duration of the final exam period.
Checkout Options
Students can choose between two checkout options: Regular or Express Checkout.
If a student selects a regular checkout, a Residence Life staff member will go with them to do a preliminary room inspection. This will be a brief inspection and will give students the opportunity to correct any issues in the room before leaving. Additional damage assessment may occur during full inspections and be assessed to the student's account. This option is only available during the hours listed above.
By selecting the Express Checkout option, students will waive their right to appeal any damage charges assessed by Residence Life staff when room inspections are conducted. Residence Life staff will not conduct a preliminary room inspection with students who choose Express Checkout.
Summer Housing
*Seniors
Students who are not graduating will not be allowed to stay in housing through commencement. Volunteers for the ceremony have already been selected. No exceptions will be made.
