Our Winter Flower fundraiser has officially wrapped up! If you have not already done so, please sign up for a pick-up time.


If you are willing and able to help unload the flowers when the truck arrives, please reach out to Melissa Davis to let her know.

Concert & Winter Bands

Side-by-Side Concert

On Tuesday, December 14th at 6:30pm the Wind Symphony will have a winter Side-by-Side concert with the FCJHS bands.

Pep Band

Pep Band will have 2 more practices before winter break. Practice on 12/10 will be during CCR time. The final practice will be on 12/13 after school until 4:45.

Sounds of the Season

Sounds of the Season is Franklin Central's holiday extravaganza featuring the Performing Arts Department's premier ensembles. ALL shows have SOLD OUT! Never fear, they will be LIVE streamed this year.

We are pleased to announce that John and Wendy Myers will be this year's percussion liaison team! If you have any questions about the activity, practices, etc. please reach out to them. If they don't have the answers they will reach out to the director/staff and get them for you.

Payments

The first Winter Guard payment was due on December 1st. If you have not made that payment, please process it now. Online payments can be made HERE. Please contact the Treasurer at treasurer@fcbands.org if you need to set up a payment arrangement.

Practice Schedule

The practice schedule for this week is below. Students must attend every practice. if you have a rare conflict that can’t be avoided, email Adam Faircloth immediately.

· Tuesday - 2:30pm to 5:30pm – Annex

· Thursday – 6:00pm to 9:00pm – HS Aux Gym

· Friday – 6:00pm to 9:00pm – HS Aux Gym

· Saturday – 2:00pm to 6:00pm Annex

A Winter Guard

· Tuesday - 6:00pm to 9:00pm - HS Aux Gym

· Thursday - 3:30pm to 6:00pm - Annex

· Friday - 3:30pm to 5:30pm - Annex

Regional A Winter Guard

· Tuesday - 6:00pm to 9:00pm - HS Band Room

· Thursday - 6:00pm to 9:00pm - HS Band Room

Prop Help Needed

We need your help! We are looking for parents of various skill sets to help with the preparation of props for all three guards. No matter what your skill set, we have a job for you! We need help with design, building, painting, repair work, cleanup, and pushing props at the competition. Come to the parent informational meeting on Tuesday at 5:45pm to learn more. The location will be announced soon. If you are not able to attend the meeting, please email Chris Chandler for more information.
