Meet the Bradley Family

Tell us about your family:

My husband, Michael and I were welcomed into the Merryhill family in 2006. I started teaching second grade, and later moved up to third grade. I loved our school so much that I joined the ranks as a Merryhill parent as well. Our son, Liam, started Kindergarten this year. He loves to learn, and he now reads everything in sight. He enjoys video games, playing outside with his cousin, and collecting garbage trucks. Liam also loves snuggling with our dogs. Maisy and Marley are his best friends. As a family, we love to travel. We try to visit the mountains any chance we get.

What is your favorite Merryhill memory:

As a teacher, I have many wonderful memories. I enjoy sharing new novels each year, field days, having guest speakers, and going on our all day trip to Waco. As a parent, I have enjoyed watching Liam make new friends, the Christmas Program, and the Polar Express night. With so many amazing memories, I don’t think I could pick just one!

Why Merryhill?

When I graduated from UTA, I knew I wanted to teach in private school. My mom sent me a copy of the private school page of the phone book. I called, interviewed, and the rest is history. As the years flew by, I realized that teaching at Merryhill was meant to be. I have gotten to teach alongside of some of the most wonderful teachers in the world. I have grown and become a better teacher because of it. This has become my family. I know that Liam will have excellent teachers, great friends, and will love being a part of the Merryhill family too.

Anything else you would love to share?

I am so thankful to have been a part of the lives of so many wonderful students over the years at Merryhill. I look forward to many new memories as a teacher and a parent!
