Hope everyone has had a terrific start to the new school year and/or are enjoying retirement! We are excited about the new year and all that it has in store.

We held our summer planning meeting at Marion School! Our theme for the year will be a focus on "Building Relationships." We are mixing things up with the meetings this year, trying some different times/styles....hoping to have a little more social time and less "business"...... please come when you can. The 4:30 meetings will be drinks only, no other food will be provided since so close to dinner.

Recently, we were able to give out 8 gift cards worth $50 each to the newly inducted beginning teachers in CCS on August 13 at SMS.

We hope to see you at our first meeting on September 11 at Marion at 4:30!

If you have extra time on your hands, we’d love you to volunteer at Marion Elementary. Call me at 704-476-8381, I’ll get you signed up to volunteer!

Water is precious! We will continue to save dimes for our Special Projects. The money we raise will go toward Beginning Teachers, Schools for Africa, and World Fellowship. Remember Delta Tau Projects when you drink water and save your dimes for our projects again this year. We will collect the change February 12, 2015. We collected $158.00 last year.

Treasurer Report

Greetings all...

Our annual dues are $80 and must be paid by October 31. Last

year you voted to allow dues to be sent in three payments, but I will

assume you are not using this method since I have only received one

check. Lori Sutherland sent the full amount, along with her photo

release form last week. She gets the prize for efficiency!! Yea, Lori!!

Please follow Lori’s example. Copy the photo release form, write

your check for $80 to Delta Tau, DKG and take them to the meeting

next week. Connie is collecting for me since I will be working. If you

can’t make the meeting...fill out the form, write your check and put it in

the mail. My address:
