For the basketball portion, the Eagles will be hosting Conkwright in the last basketball competition between the two schools before they combine. Play begins with the 6th grade game at 5:30 PM. Clark Middle parents and students (with student ID) will get in to the games for half price. Chili will be served free to parents and students who attend. Also, a wide variety of concessions will be offered for sale. Mark your calendars, you do not want to miss this event!
Little Caesars Family Night
After such great success with our Little Caesars Family Night last year, we're doing it again! Take a break from cooking and head to Little Caesars for dinner on Thursday, January 31 from 5:00-8:00 PM. 20% of every pizza sold will be donated to the PTSO!
You'll also have a chance to win 2 tickets to the UK Wildcats basketball game vs. Auburn at Rupp Arena on Saturday, February 9, compliments of Little Caesars! To enter the drawing, write your name and phone number on the back of your receipt and have your student put it in the designated box in the front office at school by Monday, February 4th. The drawing will be held at the end of the day on Monday. There will also be a box inside Little Caesars that night for your convenience. Please bring your receipt in to the store; they will not be collecting them through the drive-thru. Thank you!
We had lots of help pulling off our December events and projects! We'd like to thank the following for their work at basketball concessions: Christy Turner, Maureen Easterling, Jennifer Walton, Terri Townsend, Janet Robinson, Amy Oliver and student, William Brooks. A special thanks to Carson Brooks for supplying us with fresh, hot popcorn!
We'd also like to thank those who helped decorate Christmas trees that adorned the tables in the cafeteria for the students' special Christmas lunch as well as those who helped with the final decorating of the tables. Those members are: Gina Dreusicke and son, Matthew, Danah Stevenson and daughter, Emilie, Linda Carpenter, Vickie Leland, and Robbin Large.
And finally, a special thanks to all of the PTSO members who answered the call and gave of their time to help chaperone the Winter Ball. Your help was much appreciated!
