Auction (April 29th, 2023) news~

A message from Auction Chair, Jeff Ramsey:

The Auction is 5 weeks away!! It will be an AMAZING night!! A few quick reminders:

  1. Buy your tickets!! Ticket sales go through April 16 - don't miss out!! You can buy tickets at the auction website. You can also view our catalog and see what amazing prizes we have up for auction!
  2. Volunteer to help build baskets. A great and easy way to get involved. Jen Kraft ( will be building baskets at St. Pius next week. Please contact her to arrange a time that you can help. This is also a good way to get a sneak peek at what items you might want to bid on!!
  3. Volunteer to help set up (Friday, April 28) or help the night of the auction (Saturday, April 29). The more people we have for set-up, the easier it will be. If you volunteer the night of the auction, you will get a free ticket - but still will get a bid number and still have fun that night! Please visit the volunteer site to sign-up!:

We have some AWESOME items this year and our "Kentucky Derby" themed auction promises to be the social event of the season!!

Contact Jeff Ramsey ( with questions.

Prefer NOT to drive the night of the Auction?

VIP Day!

Very Important Person Day is back to Wauwatosa Catholic School, Thursday, April 6th. Students are welcome to invite an important person to join them at school for our half day. A prayer service along with activities are being planned. Additionally, the Book Fair will be taking place. Please watch for sign up slips in your child's backpack coming home soon with more details.

VIP Day attire~

Some school calendars in circulation have April 6th as a Spirit Wear Day. This is incorrect. Students should dress up as there will be activity in church.

The Book Fair returns~

The Scholastic Book Fair will be ready to roll this Thursday, March 30th. Students will visit the Book Fair during their library times and/or parents are welcome to stop in after school with their student to peruse the books. Many families utilized the eWallet feature during our last fair. If you had money left in the eWallet, students can use it this fair. I will send out an email to review how to set-up/add money to the eWallets this week. The Book Fair will run through April 6th.

McTeachers' Night~

Thank you to all who came out to McDonald's to support our McTeachers' Night! With so many families there, it felt as though we rented out the place for our function. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $1106.59 for our school.

Dissecting chicken wings

The 7th grade class took part in their first dissection of the school year this past Thursday. They dissected chicken wings to learn how the skeletal muscles work. Microscopes were set up so they can prepare slides to look at the muscles more closely.

Alumna in the spotlight~

Meet Kate Hemsworth (left) and Mae Scheuing (right)!

These two shinning stars are this year's Valedictorian (Kate) and Salutatorian (Mae) of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School. Both are 2019 graduates of WCS. Congratulations! We are so proud of you.
