Counting Our Blessings
November 1, 2019
Happy Thanksgiving!
With Thanksgiving recess just weeks away, we want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with lots of love, peace, laughter, friends, family, and of course some delicious food! We hope that the spirit of the holiday fills your hearts with warmth and your homes with extra love.
"Thanks A Lot" Challenge
This month, we want to challenge you...not only to think more often about the things that make you smile, but more importantly to THANK OTHERS...out loud, in a letter, with some cookies, however it moves you! We're talking about more than just the polite "thank you" that you extend when someone holds a door or hands you your change. Thank someone for something they've done that they might not even realize had an impact on you, something they thought went unnoticed. Thank your mail carrier for braving the weather. Thank a customer service representative. Thank a parent. Thank a teacher or staff member. Thank someone unexpected, who isn't expecting it. You might be surprised to find it warms your heart to warm theirs!
