Communication, Communication, Communication!
Please continue to use the resources below to keep up with the happenings at BMS:
1. Check the BMS webpage - click below and save to your computer so you can refer back to it for updates.
2. Sign up for Schoology - students got access codes for parents last week.
3. Check out Blanco Independent School District on Facebook
4. Sign up for eNotes
5. Still have questions? - call BMS or email Mr. Kinney. Contact information is at the bottom of this page.
Schoology
Parents can also create accounts in Schoology which allows you to see what is happening in each of your child's classes as well as monitor assignments to see what is coming up, what is now due, and if your student has turned in the work. The system DOES NOT sync with our gradebook, so you will need to sign up for the parent portal to access grades.
We are excited to implement Schoology and for you to more easily partner with us in your student's education. If you have questions, you can reach out to your student's teacher, myself, or the BISD technology department. Contact information is below.
COVID information
If you do NOT get a notification, then your child was not in a class with the person who tested positive.
We will NOT be sending out blanket emails to everyone - only those who may have had close contact with the positive case.
eNotes
If you need help, reach out to BMS using the information below or call BISD 830-833-4414 and ask for the technology department.
We will utilize eNotes to notify parents of COVID cases and any potential close contact exposure. Please make sure you are receiving eNotes!
