Principal Post
It's been an outstanding week here at DuJardin. This past Friday, we kicked off our annual PTO Fall fundraiser. Flyers were sent home last Friday and are due October 15th. We thank all of you in advance for supporting the PTO's efforts as they support our school community.
On Tuesday, the DJ staff and students participated in the state mandated bus evacuation drill. We received several comments regarding the positive behavior presented by the students throughout. Well done!
Picture day was a huge success! Special thanks to the PTO parents who volunteered to assist in escorting classes and reminding students to, "Say Cheese!"
Next Tuesday, October 8th is our District 13 Blood Drive. DuJardin School opens the gym from 2-7pm for all to come and donate blood. See flyer
We are pleased to announce this years, Character Counts! award recipient for DuJardin. Veronica Archacki is a 5th grader, modeling the pillars of character both in school and around Bloomingdale. Veronica is recognized by her peers as being a caring friend. She serves as a safety patrol in our Kindergarten classrooms, showing our new Jaguars how to be responsible citizens. Thank you Veronica, for representing DuJardin in such a positive way. We are so very proud of you. Please come out and join us at the 2019 Character Counts! Night taking place in Old Town, Bloomingdale Tuesday, October 8th at 5:45pm.
