- Civic Learning Award: Apr 27 is a special day with a special schedule! The MS & HS will be honored with the Civic Learning Award from California Department of Education, presented by Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye! And! On behalf of the MS, we have Aran and Caroll presenting about what civics at NP3 means to them! Congrats Pirates!
- Science Camp: Weeeeeee! The youngest Pirates are off the forest to explore Mon, Tue and Wed. Principal Anzelc will be joining them...which is another way of saying...she'll be off site. :)

ADVISORIES, STUDENTS & FAMILIES

- Special Bell Schedule: Please note, students will get out at 11:55am on the last two days of school 6/1 & 6/2.
- SBAC testing: NP3 MS students will be taking SBAC assessments 4/10-4/21. We can't wait for them to show what they know! These assessments are mandated by the state and are very important to our school. Please make sure your student is in attendance these weeks.
Booster Meeting: The next booster meeting will be on 5/8 at 6:30pm. Snacks are provided!
6th Science Camp: The youngest Pirates are on their way to the woods for some learning and community building! 4/17-4/19.
Henna Art Fundraiser: 4/28 after school.
8th Grade CSUS Field Trip: On 5/4 8th grade students will be taking a field trip to California State University of Sacramento. Permission slips are going home this week, please make sure you get them in. This is one of our favorite college visits!
Library Books: Why yes books are due already! All books are due 5/5. Please help get them in.
7 Habits Treasure Hunt: Thank you for being a leader in all you do!
Fri 4/14 student government will be holding a Leader In Me Treasure Hunt to celebrate students who are consistently applying the 7 Habits in their daily lives. All students in each advisory will be voting for TWO students who emulate these qualities. If you have questions regarding the voting or day of procedures please contact Ms. Silas.
Student Government and Mentoring: Are you interested in running for office? WHO BETTER TO LEAD THAN YOU?! Election Packets for the 2017-2018 school year will be available for pickup this Fri 4/14 from Ms. Silas in room O-2. 6th and 7th graders who are interested in running for office or being a student mentor are encouraged to participate! Completed packets are due Fri 4/28!
Dance auditions for incoming 9th: High School Dance Auditions are 4/24-4/28. All 8th grade students are welcome to audition, both male and female as we do have an all Male Team. End of Year Rally 4/28: Yassss! Get excited! It's our last rally of the year and we're excited! This will be an Earth Day themed rally and it will also feature our amazing NP3 HS dancers!
End of Year Park Clean-Ups: 4/26 from 3-4pm and 5/12 3-5pm. See Mrs. Qasmi for more information! These are they last two of the year so please come and join if you have not done so!
