PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Communication in Winter Conditions

Just a reminder as we come into the winter we will communicate to our school community through our school app, facebook page and website if we have to cancel school due to snow. This also applies if we have to start school an hour later due to icy conditions.

All decisions will be made as early as possible - around 6am in the morning.

School Camp

Good luck to all our Year 5-8 students who are travelling to Dunedin next week on school camp. This is going to be an extremely exciting week and I am sure the children will come back buzzing with stories of new experiences that they have undertaken during their camp.

Vests, Vests, Vests

Sorry to sound like a broken record but we still have a large number of students coming to school not wearing a vest. It only takes a second to put on your vest and with the mornings getting icy and cold it will be harder for motorists to stop if children walk out in front of them.
