AIESEC Florianópolis
Usual Sentences in Portuguese
We understand that you don’t have the obligation to speak Portuguese while you’re doing an AIESEC Internship in Brazil, but you’ll find many people that don’t speak English, so you need to know some usual sentences to get along. So, here are some sentences you might have to use:
Oi, tudo bem? - Hi, how are you?
Onde é o banheiro? - Where's the toilet?
Você sabe onde fica _______? - Do you know where ________* is?
* The place you're looking for
Você pode me ajudar? - Could you help me?
Não falo português! - I don't speak Portuguese!
If you need help with any Portuguese words or sentences, be sure you can contact out team of AIESEC Florianópolis.
What happened this week
Banking Account Opening
Last Thursday, Oussama and our IGIP team went to open a Banking Account in Banco do Brasil. As you know, the Trainee must open a Banking Account so he can receive his wage properly. It has to be done before the end of first month of stay of the Trainee in Florianópolis. This procedure is only necessary for Trainees who are enrolled in the Global Talents Program.
Jair's Birthday
Our loved Trainee Jair had the chance to celebrate his birthday in Florianópolis!!! He could try one of the best burgers of the city on Soul Gourmet with his Trainees friends and some of the AIESEC Florianópolis team.
Pick up of the week!
Last week three new Trainees have arrived in Florianópolis: Melissa, Hayek and Zoey. So, someone of our team of GIP went to the airport pick them up to make sure they got home safely.
Welcome, new Trainees! We hope you enjoy Florianópolis and your experience!
Buses in Florianopolis!!
