Library Update
In the library, Ms. Suzy has been working diligently to unbox, process, and barcode all of the new science curriculum materials for all grade levels! There are over 138 boxes of new materials, and soon teachers will be able to check out materials to use in class. Thank you, Ms. Suzy!
The library is closed to classes this week (Jan 10th-14th), but will be open again next week.

FFO General Meeting next Wednesday, January 19 at 6:00pmOur first FFO Meeting of 2022! Mrs. Mulay will be sharing some information about the new state testing for 3rd-5th graders. November meeting minutes and January agenda are attached. Topic: VVFFO General Meeting | Kindness Matters Fund DonationThe FFO Board voted to use some of the money in our Kindness Matters Fund (which comes from generous donations from our families) to make a donation to the GoFundMe campaign in support of our well loved EA, Ms. Emy Riedle. She and her boys suffered an unimaginable loss last week when her husband passed away after a battle with brain cancer. Or if your child rides the bus or walks and they have room in their backpack that's great too! (Ideas for items: “shelf-stable” snacks, sparkling water, Keurig pods, etc.) The staff has greatly appreciated the previous donations and are happy to have the goodies and supplies! A New Year and another opportunity to show our VVE Staff/Teachers some appreciation….Let’s “Stock the Lounge”! If you happen to be running errands over the next few days, pick-up a little something extra for the VVE Staff Lounge and drop it off with our volunteers when you drop off your student Tuesday, January 18th.
