Ice cream is happy so I want to work with fun and happy employees. (So do All Employees) Flexible scheduling, we work around school events, sports, vacations, camps and other commitments. Short shifts of 3 to 6 hours. Competitive wages, year end bonuses.
Practice teamwork skills, people skills, and organizational skills, all at the same time. Everyone rotates through positions and job duties to keep things interesting. Season opens in early April. Start training in late March. Season ends mid-October. Free ice cream and/or shift meal.
(Applicants should be prepared to explain failures or disappointments when interviewed.)
Pay rate was bumped up to $10.35 per hour and they now have a weekly attendance bonus of $116.25 per week. That means if an employee shows up to work all 5 days, they get that money weekly. Also, for the seniors getting ready to graduate, they still have their tuition assistance which is $5,250 per year!
