News From Ms. Kramer's 4th Grade Class

Second Quarter Grades

It's official! Second quarter grades are now posted and can be seen in Skyward. Please remember that a paper copy is not being sent home this year, all grades will be electronic. In order to see your student's grades you must have an active Skyward account. If you do not have a Skyward account please contact Kellie Heckerson in the front office.

If you have not already viewed your student's grades in Skyward, please take some time over the weekend to review and discuss your student's progress. This would be a great time to set goals and have your student reflect on his or hers strengths as well as areas that need improvements.

I can't even believe we are half way through fourth grade!

New Year, New You!

This week we discussed the importance of setting and meeting goals to help us become better students and people. Students then made New Year's resolutions to remind them of the goals they want to achieve for the remainder of the school year. I was very impressed with how reflective students were and how reasonable their goals were. We will use these resolutions as a framework and assess our progress throughout the semester.

Cereal Boxes

As part of our regions of the United States unit, we are in need of empty cereal boxes. These will be turned into "suitcases" for students to store their papers, projects, and other resources we accumulate throughout the unit.

Over the next week, if you have empty large cereal boxes, please send them our way. We need enough for every student in the class (22). Thank you in advance for all the support you provide.
