Taking the First Step
Since moving to Florida, my hubby and I have found ourselves on perm-vacation. That is awesome for my mental state, but terrible for my waist line! So, this Monday (wink wink) I am going to start a clean eating program through Arbonne: 30 Days to Healthy Living.
The cool thing is that you can join me! You can do this with or without Arbonne products by
1. Eliminating allergenic and inflammatory foods: Gluten, dairy, soy, alcohol, sugar and caffeine.
2. Eating lean meat and lots of green veggies. Organic and grass fed as much as possible.
3. Drinking plenty of water.
Why is it a challenge to be good to ourselves? What steps are you taking to "clean up your act?"

Water, water, water!!!
Did you know that you should be drinking 1/2 of your body weight in ounces everyday!!! That means if you weigh 100 lbs, you should drink 50 ounces of water daily! I think that I will have to wake up early, just to get a jump start on my ounces haha
Yummy, fresh veggies
Vegetables today aren't the same vegetables that our grandparents ate. Too often, they are genetically modified to resist bugs and weed sprays, meaning that we are eating those added chemicals. I look for organic as often as it is available.
