2019 Superhero Run/Walk

Last week all students received information about our upcoming Fundraiser for St. Alphonsus Catholic School - the Superhero Run/Walk on September 27th! Registration will start at 4:30 P.M. at St. Alphonsus Catholic School. An adult MUST accompany each student. We will start the walk at about 5:15! After the run/walk, there will be food for purchase, a DJ, and dance in the school. There will be Silent Auction items available for you to bid on and win. The timing of the event is up to you - if you need to leave after the walk or come later, please come when you can.

Included in this newsletter is another copy of all the information that went home last week. Also, there is a sheet your family can send to relatives and ask for donations! Just a reminder family and friends can donate online at

The evening of the Walk/Run we will have food for sale. Options include: Hamburger/Cheeseburger Dinner (includes chip and a pickle) for $5. We will also have soda, beer, wine and treat for sale ranging in price from $1-$5. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted that evening!

Please remember that after you have picked up your student - you need to exit to the north of the gym! Please DO NOT go back towards the playground. We need ALL traffic going in the same direction! The map is attached to this newsletter for continued reference!

Home and School News and Events

ALL of the parents and guardians of St. Alphonsus school children are already members of the Home and School Association, come see what we do and how you can become an active member of the group! Our next meeting will be on Wednesday September 18th in the staff lounge at 6:30 PM. Enter through door #13. We hope to see there!

Help Wanted - Morning Monitors on Mondays and Wednesdays!

We are still looking for someone to be a morning monitor on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 AM-7:20 AM. This is an awesome way to collect volunteer hours. Gala 2020 - Come join our Gala Core Team!

Do you like planning parties? Do you like spending time with great people? Do you want to help out St. Alphonsus Catholic School in an amazing way. Come join the Gala Planning Core Team. The Gala Planning Core Team plans our largest annual fundraiser which is scheduled for April 18, 2020. The time commitment is about 1-2 hrs each month. The team meets on the first Sunday of each month at 6:30PM in the Teacher’s Lounge. You’ll meet some amazing people and you’ll have a ton of fun at the same time. Please remember if your child will be absent or tardy to call the attendance line at 763-503-3306. Please leave the specific reason your child is absent or tardy. If your child is gone from school for 3 or more days due to illness, a doctor's note is required. Also, if a child is gone from school for more than 1/2 day due to illness they may not participate in any evening activities. Thank you.
