Scenic Set Design
By Jonah, Lee, Ian, and Grant
Purpose of Scenery
Set designers use hard work, creativity, and collaborative skills to realize a plays vision. Scenery is the first thing that the audience sees so it should reflect the play's time, setting, and purpose.
A scenic designer helps the audience understand the play by using visual reinforcement. The director, set designer, and tech director use style, atmosphere, and color to create a meaningful set.
