Principal's Paragraphs
Dear Belair Bulldogs,
Thank you parents! You are on the home stretch of our distance learning! We know we couldn't do this without you! You are your child's first teacher! We hope you have felt supported during this time. We look forward to back to school time in August.
Summer school registration and returning student registration ends on Friday, May 22. You can find additional information below for both registrations. All students 1st through 5th are encouraged to sign up for the Launch Program. 1st through 5th grade students who complete returning school registration online will know their classroom teacher in June.
Lots of supplies were picked up on Tuesday and Wednesday! Didn't get yours yet? Come today from 11:00-1:00 or 4:00-6:00. You will be surprised at the treasures that were in their desks!
Finally, we would love to see you one last time! Come take a drive by Belair for a summer send off parade! Come wave, hoot and holler at your favorite Belair Staff! Wear your maroon and white!
Thank you,
Mrs. Milhollin
Principal

MRRL Summer Reading Program Information
Missouri River Regional Library's summer reading program will run from June 1st to August 7th. We will have two summer reading programs for children to choose from depending on their age. The Pre-K program is for children up to age 4. The Children's program is for those 5-12. Both programs will be based on hours of reading. Each program will have a single prize level- a bag of themed items, and three books of the participant's choice from bins we will have at the library. Those that finish will also earn five raffle tickets to put toward chances to win a number of literacy-based prizes at the end-of-program day on Saturday, August 8th (assuming no social distancing concerns).
Due to COVID-19 issues, the summer reading program is being kept simple, and the reading log is moving online, via READsquared. Online registration and logging on READsquared is a simple process, and is accessible via web browser, Apple app, or Android app. Links to all these will be posted on the library's site (mrrl.org) when we go live. Paper logs will still be available at the Children's circulation desk, but patrons are encouraged to use the online portal if possible.

Technology Concerns/Questions
If your child(ren)'s device stops working for any reason, please contact our Tech Support.
If you need assistance or tips and tricks please visit the Tech Support website.
You will find tips and tricks for working a Chromebook, the support form that is linked above, and locations near district buildings where you can access WIFI for FREE!
iReady Lessons
If your child brought home a Chromebook and they have a 1st Grade or Kindergarten sibling, the sibling can use the Chromebook for their iReady lessons too!
iReady works on iPads/iPhones or laptop/desktop computer and Chromebooks.
Your child(ren) had their usernames/passwords sent home on March 17. Misplaced their password? Contact your child's teacher by email to get it!
And YES! They can do both reading and math lessons everyday! The goal would be to spend about 30 minutes on reading and 30 minutes on math!
iReady licenses will be good through the end of June. Students can continue to logon and complete iReady lessons even after school's out for summer.
