The 5 main causes
NATIONALISM:
The definition of nationalism is pride in ones own country. Each country in the world wanted to assert its dominance and power over others.
MILITARISM:
A technology improvement in the 20th century, countries around the world engaged in an arms race.
IMPERIALISM:
Is a nations conquest of other territories around the world
Assassination of archduke:
His assassinated started the beginning of World War I
Alliances: when countries said if one country went to war then they would back that country up and support them.
Tangled alliances
This shows how the alliances were so tangled that if one country attacks one then the rest of the countries will start fighting to because of the alliances formed
