Math- We will continue doing addition and subtraction. We will also start to focus on numbers 6-10.
Science - We will describe the location of objects using positional words.
Social Studies- We will use vocabulary related to time and chronology, including before, after, next, first, last, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Importance of reading
Please see click on the picture above. This gives your a visual about how important reading is to your little one(s) and what a difference it will make in their academic studies.
Guided reading books
We are so excited to have started reading groups during our morning lesson time. Your child will be bringing home 1-2 books to read nightly. This is also a great time to work on sight words. Please make sure that your child returns their books each day. This way they have their book to read at reading group time. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.
