NAHS conference- January 20-21, 2023 Milledgeville

We are excited to have the NAHS conference return in person. Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia will serve as the host site on January 20-21. As we work to build back to full capacity and in partnership with our host site's capacity, the 2023 NAHS conference can only host 100 students.

Therefore, the conference is being promoted as an NAHS Leadership conference. NAHS advisors should seek to send their chapter's leaders as workshops and breakouts will be aimed toward leadership. Registration and details will be available early in October. Chapter registrations will initially be limited to 5 spots per chapter, so act early.

Questions? Please reach out to the GAEA secondary representatives and NAHS conference co-chairs:

A core mission pillar for NAEA is tied to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I). Our GAEA membership has partnered with NAEA to further support this mission and vision. We have formed an ED&I committee and recently published a teacher resource guide on findings and best practices to further enrich our ED&I goals.

Special thanks to Kyle Robertson and Patrice Newell (GAEA ED&I special interest co-chairs) and Katie Ericson and Anna Doll (GAEA museum representatives) for their help.
