A Note from the Office

Bryantville Families,

It was another busy week for our students at Bryantville! On Tuesday night our band students, along with the other elementary band students, played the National Anthem at Fenway Park! They were amazing, professional, and represented Pembroke proudly. It was a great night, capped off with a Red Sox win!

On Wednesday, our fifth grade welcomed families to view their Multi Genre Fair. Students' projects were on display and were so impressive! Each student chose a topic to research further about and then created a variety of written, creative assignments to show what they learned. Their projects demonstrated their hard work, effort, and passion for their learned topic.

Miss Melissa, from the Pembroke Public Library, visited on Wednesday as well. She introduced students to the summer reading program that will be held at the library this summer. No matter the age group, Miss Melissa is able to capture the students’ imaginations and interests. They always leave excited to participate in the program and to read!

Thursday brought Big Ryan, storyteller, to the school to provide an enrichment program to our first graders and kindergarteners. The students were riveted by his tales! Our sixth graders met with members of the PTAD group (Pembroke Titans Against Drugs) to take the PTAD pledge. This is an annual tradition for our sixth graders and an important one to participate in as they begin their transition to middle school.

We are almost there! We have just two, full school days remaining. Don’t forget there is no school on Monday, June 20 and that our last day, Wednesday, June 22, is an Early Release. Thank you for your continued support. Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Jen Simmons

Health Services Update

Dear Parent / Guardian:

The last day of school is June 22, 2022. It is our policy to notify Parents/Guardians of students who have medication(s) at school. Medications are not to be stored in the school building over the summer. Medications must be picked up by the last day of school at student dismissal time by a parent/guardian. Medications are not kept for summer programs.

For your convenience, a new medication form can be found on the Pembroke Public School Website under the Health Services Tab (Forms and Information) for the next school year for you and physician to complete over the summer. Medication forms expire at the end of each school year.

Per policy all medication must be delivered at the beginning of next school year by an adult. Medications will not be accepted from students.

Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the nurse. Please disregard if your student(s) do not have medications in school.

Have a nice summer.

Sincerely,

Elementary School Nurses

Thank you Miss Melissa for visiting with our students!
