WARUD Mission Field Visit

11/11/2015

The journey started at 7 am in the morning of 11th November. The bus journey was like any other picnic trip, singing songs and dancing.

The first phase of the journey was Nagziri village.

It was like an eye opener. The house of the 5 believers there is on an encroached land without any electricity there. The youths separated in groups to visit the 5 houses of the believers. One of the believers, narrated her shocking incident in which she was beaten up and stoned along with her kids by the upper class people because her sheep entered their land! When she filed an FIR in the Police Station, the police were bribed by the upper class people. The Government is spending crores of rupees for the lower caste people communities but not a single rupee reached to them. Bro.Pradip David prayed for the lady and her children. Later, the breakfast was served for all followed by a prayer meeting led by Rev.Roy P.Thomas. The youths sang songs along with the believers and prayed for their needs. Even after so much problems their belief in The Almighty is worth appreciation.

The second phase of the journey was Shahapur village.

Bro. Suresh Dhurve and Bro. Janrao Idipachi belong to this village. The believers were assembled already waiting for us to start the prayer meeting. The believers presented two GOND songs and shared their testimonies. Later, the lunch was served.

The last phase of the journey was Gonapur Village.

This village is situated in a hilly area away. Here, the youths met two ladies who are the pillars of spreading the Word in the village. A prayer meeting was held and later the youths interacted with the believers. Thier strong belief in the Word of God and their great faith in The Almighty was amazing.

How lucky we are?

We are provided with the basic needs of life and we never realize its value.

But these people who don't have even that much have stronger faith than us.
