February 2019 Roman News

From the Principal's Desk...

Whew, what a crazy January! Mother Nature could not make up her mind! I hope everyone has been staying warm. This time of year can be very tiring, especially for our little ones. Please make sure you continue to have your child in bed at a decent time. This will help keep them focused and healthy.

The staff and I appreciate all of the students who are taking their eLearning seriously! During eLearning days, teachers are still teaching and we want students still learning. Students will only grow if they are putting in the effort to learn. We want reading, writing and math to continue during eLearning days.

Our school carnival is coming up! We need donations and parent volunteers. Our theme this year is Video Gamers. We are encouraging students to dress up as their favorite "school friendly" video game character on Friday, March 15.

I want to take time to say thank you to all families who are continuing to send your child, children to school on time. I also appreciate parents who schedule appointments after school hours. School attendance is a law in the state of Indiana. If you plan on taking your child out of school for a family vacation during the days school is in session, East Noble is now requiring families to fill out paperwork to be approved prior to the vacation. Please call our school office if you plan on taking your child out of school. We will make sure you fill out the proper paperwork.

Please continue to stay warm. Spring can not get here fast enough!

Update Contact Information!

With winter weather here, it is extremely important to have the most up-to-date contact information on file with our school office. Phone calls of delays and cancellations will be made to the primary phone number on file, and when children are ill, our office uses this primary phone number as well. If your phone number has changed or you are not receiving these messages, please check with our office to update your number.
