December 2, 2022
A Message from the Principal
Dear Sheridan Families,
Wasn’t it just October?! Here we are in December with the sound of children singing holiday songs in the halls, and only two weeks before we leave for winter break. The students are abuzz with excitement over the winter sing performances next week, plus our annual Winter Story Time. We hope you can join us for these festive events! The fun continues the following week with a full line-up of Spirit Week daily themes. See the schedules below - it’s a great time to be a Sheridan Shark!
Winter Virtual StoryTime:
Please get ready to sip hot chocolate and cozy up in your pajamas on December 8 at 6:30 for our Annual Virtual Winter Read Aloud! Our very own Mrs. Parry and Ms. Milsk will be reading stories for all K-4 to enjoy! Hope to see you then! Link will be sent out through SeeSaw!
Winter Sing Performance Times:
Festive dress for all! Doors will open 10 minutes before the performance. We look forward to sharing these cheerful performances with you! Important details:
All students need to stay for the entire performance and we are asking for advanced notice if you plan to take your child home after the performance, including siblings.
Please provide green notes when you send your child to school.
Police have approved parking on Spruce. Please stay on one side of the road and do not block fire hydrants. Do not park on our grass nor on Sheridan Road as you will get ticketed.
All of the students have practiced for these performances and are excited to sing, so please stay through every class until the end of the show.
Spirit Week is coming!

Hurricane Ian Fundraiser:
Our fabulous Student Council has initiated a fundraiser for Hurricane Ian victims by selling popcorn during one of our lunches. Please see details HERE.
