Dear Park Village Community,
As we enter the Thanksgiving break, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible efforts and dedication of our students, staff, and parents. This season of gratitude reminds us to reflect on the positive aspects of our lives and appreciate the people around us. I am thankful for the vibrant and supportive community we have at Park Village. Your commitment to education, collaboration, and growth is what makes out site special. Wishing you a joyful and restful Thanksgiving filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connections.
Thank you for being an integral part of the Park Village community. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones!
Warm regards,

New Procedure starting Nov. 27
PVES Pick-Up Table (Forgotten Items) Policy
Beginning November 27, 2023 PVES Office Staff will no longer contact classrooms, teachers or students to notify them of forgotten items that hbeen delivered. This includes:
Outerwear
Lunches, snacks, water bottles
Homework
Band instruments
Library books
Chromebooks
P.E. equipment
Please understand that this is due to the high volume of forgotten items on a daily basis, and our desire to minimize disruption to our front office staff and to our classroom instructional time. A positive side to this new process, it will provide an opportunity for our students to learn responsibility, as well as resiliency. At night, you can help your student prepare for school by having all school items in one place and easy to access on the way out the door.
Should you wish to drop off a forgotten item, you may leave it on our Pick-up Cart, located directly outside of the front office. Please leave a post-it note with your child’s name, grade level, and teacher’s name on the item.
Items that you wish to deliver to teachers may be left on the Pick-up Cart. Please email the teacher in advance to make arrangements.
The Pick-up Cart will be outside daily from 8:45am until 10:00am.
After 10:00am, the Pick-up Cart will be taken inside, onto campus. Students will be able to check the Pick-up Cart for any forgotten item during their recess or lunch times.
Please remind your student(s) frequently that they can check the Pick-up Cart to see if an item was delivered. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain the strong educational foundation that PVES was built upon.
*Office Staff will not assume any responsibility for items left on the Pick-up Cart.
Thank you!
Our village filled 5 red bins for the San Diego Food Bank. Your generosity makes a difference.
Our PTA has arranged for Park Village to be an Official Toy Drop Site. More information coming soon!
PUSD PARENT ENGAGEMENT LIAISON
PUSD Parent Ambassadors Program
Hello Families of Students served through PUSD Special Education programs and services. I am the new PUSD Parent Engagement Liaison, and I wanted to share my contact information as well as another wonderful resource we offer, the PUSD Parent Ambassadors program.
Parent Ambassadors are parent volunteers who have their own child(ren) accessing special education services through PUSD. They serve as mentors to guide and support parents of children with IEPs or those exploring special education options. Drawing from their own experiences, they offer invaluable insights and advice to encourage collaboration among parents and school staff on behalf of students.
To reach out to a Parent Ambassador, please submit a request through get connected form. TO apply to become a Parent Ambassador, please complete this application form.
