Principal's Corner
Mohawk Primary Center - October 2021
A Note From Principal Colbert
It is hard to believe that the fall season is here and in just under three weeks, we will be one quarter of the way through the 2021-2022 school year. The staff at Mohawk have been very busy creating and implementing learning opportunities for all of our scholars. Our classrooms, learning centers, and hallways are buzzing with excitement, laughter, questioning, and motivation to explore and learn. A strong school-home partnership is incredibly important for the growth of students. Teachers will be reaching out to families to schedule parent-teacher conferences for all students on November 4th and 5th.
Now that we are six full weeks into the school year, it is imperative that students arrive to school on time. Every instructional minute counts. Mohawk opens each morning for breakfast at 7:50 AM and students enter their classrooms at 8:15 AM. Students are marked tardy beginning at 8:30 AM. Thank you for your attention to this matter and support to ensure that your child is on time each and every day.
Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to have an amazing 2021-2022 school year!
