Christ Child Academy Newsletter

June 7, 2019

From the Desk of Mr. Ruedinger

This will be our last newsletter for this school year. Please review the calendar notes at the bottom of this newsletter, or the Google calendar on the school website, for the end of year activities.

Tuesday, June 11th will be a cold lunch day (hot lunch will not be served) due to the gym being set up for 8th grade graduation. Milk will be available to purchase. The students will be eating in their classrooms.

Please note there will be Mass on Tuesday, June 11 (Kindergarten Celebration) and Wednesday, June 12 (Last Day of School). On Wednesday, June 12, school will be released at noon and there is no busing home, but there is morning busing. On the last day of school, the students will be allowed to wear shorts to Mass. The 8th grade class and the preschool children are welcome to join us for Mass and the school carnival.

Congratulations to the 2019 CCA 8th grade class who will be graduating Tuesday, June 11. We wish them well as they move on to high school.

We thank them for being part of the CCA family and wish the students well as they enter high school. We extend our thanks for all the hours of service these families have given to make our school a great place for learning. We hope you’ll come back and visit us!

2018-2019 Annual Fund Appeal Update

The 2018-2019 Annual Fund Appeal for Christ Child Academy is in full swing. Through generous donations from both parents and parishioners, we have raised $46,985.00 to date. Our goal for this year is $75,000. You are welcome to donate to the Annual Fund Appeal through June 30, 2019. Monies raised help enrich programs, technology, academics, arts, and help us to keep tuition reasonably affordable.

This year, we have added a new feature for your convenience. We have partnered with GoFundMe to accept online donations for our Annual Fund Appeal. Click on the banner below to donate!

Safeguarding All God's Family

If parents or grandparents plan to participate in field trips, work in the lunchroom, coach, or help out at school, you must attend a Safeguarding All God’s Family training through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. You must register on-line at www.archmil.org and indicate you are associated with Christ Child Academy. If you have not previously been trained, now is a great time to attend a session.

Box Tops for Education

CCA can earn money from clipping Box Tops found on various products. When you buy items, simply clip the Box Top and bring it to CCA. The Box Tops are submitted, and our school receives a check which is used towards our activity fund. It’s another easy way for you to help the school by purchasing the products you already use! Enlist your family, friends and neighbors to collect the Box Tops, too.

CCA Family Camping Weekend

The CCA Family Camping weekend is scheduled at Kohler Andre State Park for September 27th, 28th, and 29th of 2019 . Camping sites can be booked 11 months out, so reserve your spot now as they fill up quickly! If you have any questions, please email Nick Reinl at nick.reinl@larrysco.com.
