A Few Changes
Since the preschool classroom is a single entity, instead of saying 'Ms. Maira's class' or Ms. Anna's class,' we will further distinguish the groups by naming them. After much deliberation and gathering of ideas from the children, we have chosen a few titles that we will be deciding on in the weeks to come. Look for banners depicting the new names of the sub-classrooms in the month to come.
In February, we will be introducing the use of 'school slippers' in the classroom. Please supply your child with a pair of comfortable close toed, non-slip (on the floor) slippers to wear in the classroom while they are at school. Crocs are a great option as they are easy to take off and put on. The children will add a whole new step to their morning arrival ritual - changing out of their outside shoes into their 'classroom slippers'. The slippers will be for indoor use only and they will change into their outside shoes when we get ready to go outside. The slippers will stay at school for the duration of their enrollment at Little Oaks. If you have any questions please let us know.
