Alyssa Tauber won first place and Kelly Micca won second place in the 15th Congressional District High School Art Competition. The first place entry from each congressional district will be displayed in The Cannon Tunnel Gallery of The United States Capital for one year. They are pictured with Congressman Charlie Dent above.
April 25, Lehigh County Special Olympics, PHS Track Stadium, 10 AM.
April 30, Senior Citizen Dinner at PHS and hosted by the Leo Club, 5:30 PM.
April 30, PHS Spring Orchestra Concert, 7 PM.
May 2, Community Resource Fair, Asbury United Methodist Church, 11 AM - 2 PM. A fun, family-friendly, community building event featuring the many services, programs, and volunteer opportunities available to those living in the Parkland area. This is the 3rd year that Asbury church has partnered with the Parkland School District to offer this event to the community.
May 4, 4th Annual Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor Gala and Silent Auction, Holiday Inn and Conference Center, 6 PM. For more information, click here.
Congratulations to the TRUMPET PHS newspaper staff, especially editor-in-chief Cara Moyer, for their FIRST PLACE award in the 2015 American Scholastic Press Association's newspaper competition for creating a quality newspaper.
