Tiger Nation Newsletter
Weekly Report for January 20, 2023
Tiger Nation:
On Wednesday, January 25th, GHS will be on a half day release schedule with a dismissal time of 11:20 am for staff professional development opportunities.
Thank you to Mr. Oldfield and his Advanced Marketing students for putting on a successful blood drive last week at GHS!
The following are the top 10 study habits utilized by highly successful students:
Don’t attempt to cram all your studying into one session.
Plan when you’re going to study.
Study at the same time.
Each study time should have a specific goal.
Never procrastinate your planned study session.
Start with the most difficult subject first.
Always review your notes before starting an assignment.
Make sure you’re not distracted while you’re studying.
Use study groups effectively.
Review your notes, schoolwork and other class materials over the weekend.
The GHS Wrestling team had their final home meet of the season this past week. Seniors Lucas Beals and Josh Leo were honored for their contributions to the program!
Come out and support the GHS boys’ and girls’ varsity soccer teams for their Senior Night games on Tuesday, January 24th as they play host to Queen Creek High School. Games are scheduled at 5 and 7 pm.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support of Gilbert High School!
