Title IX Audit Report - A task force was formed this year to assist with the first self-audit of the Piedmont High School athletic program. The audit examined the whole athletic program and reviewed data to determine if female student-athletes participates in, and have similar benefits to, male athletes in proportion to enrollment. The task force objective was to: 1) identify any gender inequities across the program, and 2) propose remedies to resolve any issues; so that all students, regardless of gender, have equitable athletic experiences. See full presentation, as well as a presentation from PHS students made at the PUSD Board of Education meeting on May 25th. You can also watch video of both presentations from the Board meeting (begins at 1:23:45). Thank you to all the students, parents, staff and community members who worked on this project!
