SCS Happenings: October 23, 2020
Thank you for all you do!
From One Wildcat to Another...
Congratulations! We have made it successfully to week nine! Together and safely we continue!
Be aware that cases are on the rise. Out of precaution, pediatricians are proactively testing students who show symptoms. Take the mitigation steps seriously and continue to monitor your child's health and respond appropriately. The goal is to stay healthy and remain "open" and not revert back to full virtual. Saint Catharine of Siena will continue in the hybrid learning model and will continue to monitor and evaluate the health of the county. Please do your part to keep yourself, your children, and others healthy.
Although we would LOVE for all of our students to be with us, Saint Catharine of Siena is not accepting requests for children to return for four full days of live instruction. Children with specific instructional learning plans have been offered the opportunity for four days so they may receive the instructional support and services that they need for remedial reading, and speech therapy, etc.
It is our continued hope that we can be together soon. Thank you for all you do.
Air high fives to all,
Mrs. Marcella Kraycik

Lunches
We encourage the packing of nut free lunches this year. Due to COVID restrictions, the students are eating in various places around our campus. They are dining either in classrooms, the cafeteria, or alfresco if weather permits. A nut free table is not available this year. Therefore, we are asking that nut free lunches and snacks be brought to school this year. We thank you for your support and respectful cooperation in this matter.
The cafeteria will be serving a limited menu if lunch service is needed. The menu for the first three weeks is attached below.
A HUGE THANK YOU!

Box Tops for Education
No more clipping. No more sending Box Tops to school. All you need is your phone. Download the ALL-NEW Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then simply scan your store receipts to find participating products. The app will automatically credit your school's Box Tops earnings online.
You can still clip them and send them to school. Physical Box Top clips are being phased out of production, but may continue to be found on many products throughout the store. Send your clipped Box Tops, along with any unexpired clips you may have at home, to SCS.
Twice a year, your school will receive a check and can use that cash to buy whatever it needs!
