Welcome to Central Heights Band!
July 11, 2022
Meet your Band Teacher
I have been teaching for 19 years with the past 14 being here in Sun Prairie, mostly at the former Cardinal Heights. My main instruments is tuba and I love playing and teaching all of the instruments. I have three kids that attend Sun Prairie schools (9th, 6th, and 3rd grades) and my spouse is a Sun Prairie graduate. I love playing basketball, football, tennis, Sudoku, reading books, watching movies, and being outside. I can't wait to learn about you all and see what we have in common and can learn from each other.
I truly see education as a partnership between teacher, student, caregivers, and community. Please never hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns, and updates. See you soon!

Grade Level Information
8th Grade Info
The Sound of Sun Prairie Marching Band has been having a great season this summer and is about to embark on their 50th anniversary trip to Florida next week.
The Sound of Sun Prairie Staff would like to invite all incoming 8th-12th grade band students to a mini marching band experience in August. This event will consist of four evening rehearsals on Aug 22 - 25. The rehearsals will take place at Sun Prairie High School East from 5-9 PM each night. We will be preparing for a performance at the home football game in the Bank of Sun Prairie Stadium on August 26th! Your child will not need to officially join Sound to participate in this event. This opportunity is meant to introduce and connect new students to the Sound of Sun Prairie. This is a chance to get a glimpse of what SOSP is about.
Please look through the informational letter linked below. If your child is interested in participating, please fill out the registration form by August, 1.
Please feel free to email me with any questions.
