What Was It?
Was a new way of thinking about the world which caused scholars to replaced old assumptions with new theories and made them launched a change
who were the people associated with the change?
GALILEO
Invented the telescope and with the telescope, Galileo observed that the earth was not the center . His discoveries provided the evidence to support the theory that the earth and other planets revolved around the sun.
KEPLER
He was the first person first person to determine that the Earth and planets orbited the sun. With result of his discoveries, he published his Laws of Planetary Motion.
COPERNICUS
Became interested in an old Greek idea that the sun stood in the center of the universe.
Newton
He created the first reflecting telescope. He also made a huge impact on astronomy by defining the laws of motion and universal gravitation.
How did the change impact society at the time?
It changed the way people thought about the physical world around them. The same spirit of inquiry that fueled the Renaissance, led scientists to question traditional beliefs about the workings of the universe.
how is that change evidenced in today's modern society?
well there are many evidenced to show that the change has effected us. For example now we know that the sun is in the center of the universe and we can prove it now.
