Weekly Wrap-up

Week of May 31

We are reading The Hobbit and Tuck Everlasting.

  • We can determine the meaning of words and phrases, as they are used in a text, including figurative language.
  • We can describe how a narrator's point of view influences how events are described.

We continue to read The City of Ember as a class, comparing this fantasy book with our small group novels of the same genre.
