Blossomtime Parade - HS Band

Tomorrow, Saturday May 5th, is the annual Blossomtime Parade in downtown St. Joseph and Benton Harbor. Our High School Band is the 4th band of the parade. Our event number is 42.


Students will be provided with a pre-parade and post-parade snack, however it will not be a substantial meal. Students MUST eat a filling breakfast to get them through this long parade.


Schedule:

10:15 am - Band Room opens

10:30 am - Call Time

10:30-10:50 am - Get into uniform

10:50 am - Final instructions

10:55 am - Sock check

11:00 am - Load bus and leave

11:30 am - Arrival at parade site

1:00 pm - Parade starts

*3:00 pm - Approximate end of our performance and back to school

*This time is very approximate. Timing depends on the speed of the parade/traffic.


Students need to be picked up at Berrien Springs High School. It is too difficult to arrange and facilitate pick up at the end of the parade route due to the high volume of people and traffic. Thank you for understanding!

Don't forget! Spring Concert is Wednesday, May 16th @ 7pm in the HS Gymnasium.

Soap Fundraiser Information

We have one more week left of our spring fundraiser with "Good Clean Fundraising". Your student should have brought home a brochure featuring the soap products we are selling. Please ask them for it or ask them to bring another one home.


We have had some inquiries about paying for the product online with a PayPal account. Here is the information we have received from the company:


You can pay for your order through PayPal.

Go to PayPal.com (or your PayPal account) and log in.

Select Send or Request Money.

Select SEND MONEY

In the Send To money field - enter PayPal@goodcleanfundraising.com

Hit Next.

Enter the amount ($46.00 per bucket).

In the Add a Note field - We need YOUR NAME, the GROUP NAME ordering from, quantity & variety/type of items ordered.

Your Shipping Address - WILL NOT be used. The products will be shipped with the groups bulk-order to their selected location.

Hit Continue and follow the PayPal steps to complete your order.

IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE, WE CANNOT ASSURE THAT YOUR ORDER WILL BE PROCESSED COMPLETELY AND SENT WITH THE ORGANIZATIONS ORDER.

Please contact your group (who you are purchasing from) and make sure you let them know what you have ordered with your receipt.

HS Band Banquet

Our annual HS Band Banquet is on Sunday, May 20th. Your student will be receiving an electronic invitation today with the details. It is imperative that your student RSVP on or before Friday, May 11th. We want to make sure we have enough main course meal for everyone, without going over and having to waste food.


We provide the main dish (chicken) and fries. We ask that the side dishes and desserts are provided by the students "pot-luck" style.
