Cell membrane is what holds all of the cell pieces and fluids inside that cell and keeps nasty things outside the cell. It got some holes to let some things move in and out of the cell. Cell Membrane is found in the plants and animal cell
Cell Wall protect the plant cells to survive from any type of danger. Cell walls are made up of Cellulose. Cellulose is like sugar to the cell wall. Cellulose is called a structural carbohydrates. Cell walls help keep plant cell shape. while it protects it, cell walls help plant cells grow to good heights. Cell wall is ONLY found in Plant cells
Cytoplasm is a fluid that fills the cell. Cytoplasm is also called cytosol. It is use to fill in the spaces of cells. It also dissolves enzymes to break down all of those larger molecules. Cytosol has enzyme break down glucose, into molecules to be sent to Mitochondria. Cytoplasm are found in both plant and animal cells.
The Nucleus is the main part of the cell. It controls the cell eating, movement and reproduction. You can find the nucleus in the cytoplasm. It likes a dark spot in it. While the cell is resting, the Nucleus do this thing called chromatin. When the cell divide the chromatin will become compact and dense, causing you to be able to see chromosomes. Nucleus is found in Plant and Animal cells.
Nuclear Membrane is similar to the cell membrane. The nuclear membrane is around the whole nucleus. The Membrane keeps all of the chromatin and the nucleolus inside. Plant and Animal cells have Nuclear membrane.
Centrioles help cells when it comes to divide. You can't see them when the cells are not dividing. When the cells divide they will appear and move to opposite ends of the nucleus. When they move to opposite ends, a mitotic spindle threads appear. They connect and they begin to make a chromosomes. This is also how a new Nucleus envelopes is made. Centrioles is only found in animal cells
Chromatin is made up of DNA, RNA, and nuclear protein. the chromatin forms into chromosomes. They are in nucleus. They become dense and compact to form into them. Chromatin is only found in animal cells.
Ribosomes are the protein builders. They connect one amino acid at a time and build long chains. Every cell needs ribosomes to manufacture protein. Ribosomes are found in prokaryotes and Eukaryotes. Some ribosomes are attached to the nucleus envelope. Ribosomes are found in plant cells and animal cells.
Golgi apparatus gathers simple molecules and combine them to make molecules that are more complex . The Golgi apparatus stores them or send them out to other cells. Golgi is found in plant cell and animal cell
Endoplasmic reticulum is the network of membranes found throughout the cell and connected to the nucleus. Cells that synthesize and release a lot of proteins would need a large amount of ER. Smooth ER is a storage organelle. It is important in the creation and storage of lipids and steroids. ER are found in both plant cells and animal cells.
Mitochondria is what gives cell power. They are organelles, they break down nutrients and create energy molecules for the cell. They are small organelle floating around freely throughout the cell. Mitochondria are found in plant and animal cells
Chloroplast are the food producers of the cell. Chloroplast convert light energy of the sun into sugars that can be used by cells. This is called photosynthesis. Only plant cells have Chloroplast
Lysosomes hold enzyme that was created by cells. Lysosomes hold variety of enyzmes. They are used to digest things. They could break down a cell when it dies. Lysosomes are only found in animal cells.
Peroxisomes are some what similar to Lysosomes. They have a single membrane that digest enzymes for breaking down toxic materials in the cell. Peroxisomes hold enzyme that requires oxygen, They known for digesting fatty acid. Peroxisomes are found in both plant and animal cells
Vacuole are storage bubbles found in cells. Vacuole will sometimes store food or nutrients the cell might need to survive. This only found in Plant cells
