Goals and careers and his life
He was born in manchester but a few years later he moved to rochdale with his father and attended a grammar school. His father was his biggest influence on him and getting involved with politics and interesting him in taking courses in college and motivating his career. Michael wanted to become a probation officer but got an offer for a different job and went on to get his PhD in sociology from UCLA and Oxford his father had inspired him to study law. He had went on to write books one of which "An Anatomy of Power" this was very influential in sociology.
Works
Michael was a professor at Cambridge and the University of California teaching final year students in sociology. He has multiple volumes to his book and impacts many with his works on social power. His main focus was on government and politics he had many influences on this and books on these topics largely affecting sociology.
