Welcome to our November edition of Lobo Highlights! Great things are happening at LHS! Our volleyball team made the state playoffs and our marching band advanced to the area round of the state marching band contest! We had several members of our FFA team place at the Texas Tech University contest this week! Our senior football players have their final home game of the season tonight. Come out and cheer our Lobos to a victory!

Coach Destiny Lopez

Highest Degree Earned: Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Tech University. Wreck Em Tech!

Teaching/Coaching Assignments: Health and Assistant Volleyball coach.

Background Information: Coach Lopez is from a small town outside of El Paso, where she grew up cattle ranching. She was in the medical field (physical rehab and then sales) for the last 5 years, but decided to follow her heart into the wonderful world of education and coaching! Welcome to LHS!

Interesting Fact: Coach Lopez competes in barrel racing!

FFA students were recognized by West Texas A&M University for their success at the state FFA Entomology Contest! Congratulations!

Our marching band advanced to the area round of the state contest! They've also advanced to the Elite Eight of the KCBD Battle of the Bands contest! Lets show them what Levelland is all about and vote them to the Final Four and closer to the $3000 prize!
