This exhibit will open when the year is reborn with the irony that the word Renaissance means rebirth in French in mind.
We are choosing this topic because when we asked what people wanted to learn about the most you all said The Renaissance.
The Steam Engine
This invention was first thought of by a man named Thomas Savery. His was the first water pump also. While it needed large quantities of coal it opened the doorway to for science in field to leap for large paces at a time. It was not long before another man came forward and developed improvements to the machine making it more efficient.

This Invention, made by Johann Gutenberg, revolutionized the books were being made. For many years before people copied books by hand. They spent long hours, had many hand cramps, that does not sound fun does it? It was because of this invention that the number of books in Europe skyrocketed and with it the literacy rate went too.
