Grimston Gallop 21/8/21
As some of you may know we had to cancel the 2020 Inaugural Grimston Gallop before we had even got started. The rearranged race is on Saturday 21 st August at 11am, right before the lovely Kirby Wharfe Fete. Proceeds from the event are to be split between FOSS and the Church Roof Appeal in Kirby Wharfe.
If you would like to enter the race or for information please visit https://racebest.com/races/vs6wh
The race will be on private parkland with no traffic and entrants get entry to the fete afterwards. We will also have a kids 1 mile fun run on the day. If you are not keen on lacing up your trainers we really do need help with on the day help/marshalling. Roles will range from car park duties, race registration, on-route pointing and cheering, drinks station, etc..

Church Bell Ringing
St Mary's Tadcaster - are looking for new recruits to learn this fascinating art.
They are holding an open day on Saturday 31st July 10am-12 noon to invite people to come and look at what is involved. They would love to see people and show them around this fascinating hobby.
Next week we will be on Week 2 of the lunch menu below.
We will be having the Special Leavers lunch on Wednesday 21st July, see the menu below.
Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.
Please ensure you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like to order. Once they know their choices, they will choose this each morning with their teacher during registration.
Each day there are 3 choices, either the hot dinner, the sandwich or the jacket potato with a choice of topping. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.
