Greetings Jaguars,
Welcome Back! We are eager to get back into school to leading and learning. As we begin our week, please take a look at our winter sports schedules. We have many sports activities taking place this week; please come out and support. Our students love to see you at our sporting events.
Students, exams are coming up! Please make sure you are studying and reviewing academic material. Exam week is December 14th - December 17th.
As we prepare our students to be world scholars, please make sure students are prepared for success. 1st block begins at 8:30am. We want students to be on time every day and every class. Students should bring their computers to school daily. Check students attire and if they are wearing a mask prior to entering our building. To ensure our students are meeting Jemison's standards of excellence, please take a look at a couple of reminders about dress code:
- No hoods or hats in the building.
- Shirts may not bare midriffs when arms are raised.
- Yoga pants, leggings, or jeggings are permitted. However, the top must cover the student’s bottom.
- Hemlines of all shorts, skorts, skirts, and dresses (including slits) must not be higher than the middle of the thigh
- Pants or jeans that have holes above the middle of the thigh may only be worn if opaque tights, leggings, or shorts are worn beneath.

Positive Behavior and Leadership
Positive Behavior and Leadership Strategy of the Month
November Positive Strategy:
Our positive behavior strategy for the month of November is Reassurance. Reassurance is an action or statement that removes someone’s fears. Throughout the week reassure a student, friend, or co-worker when they are doing the right thing or demonstrating positive behavior. Remember, reassurance instills confidence in our peers by letting them know they can take actionable steps to be successful.
