Mr. Monomoy - Jason Masiello! *with his proud parents :)
The first annual Mr. Monomoy was a tremendous success! The class of 2019 worked very hard to organize and promote this great event. Students and parents came out to see the brave contestants showcase their talents, smarts and school spirit. Nick Russell won the People's Choice award--he dazzled us with his singing a piano-playing skills. The judges, Monomoy teachers Kelly Terrenzi, Stacy Yarnall and Emily Viprino had a very difficult time deciding on their top point earner, but they chose Junior class Vice President, Jason Masiello as Mr. Monomoy! Jason exemplifies all that Monomoy represents-he cares for others, works hard and has fun!

LET'S TALK! MRHS's 1st Shark "THINK" Tank Forum: Rethinking School
Our students, families, staff, administration and community have worked together over the last three years to set a clear Vision, Mission, Core Values/Beliefs and 21st Century Learning Expectations to guide our goal of moving our school from good to GREAT. We have celebrated many successes together and pride ourselves as being an innovative and forward thinking district.
We'd like to continue the collaborative conversation with ALL of you on November 2, 2017 at 6pm (library) in a forum open to ALL students, families, staff and community members. This will be the first in a series of forums to share what we value in our children's education, hear first hand from our students, and answer the following question:
What do you believe about how children learn most powerfully and deeply in their lives? Not just you personally, but what do you believe as a school community?
Hope to see you in November!

Shout out to Jon Bennett for taking the time to work with teachers to help out one of our struggling students. We spend a lot of time with our students in the classroom and can provide a great deal of feedback in terms of what would help our kids to succeed. Thanks for taking the time to listen!
