Parent Teacher Conference Night
Parent-Teacher Virtual Conferences will be held on Thursday, December 16th, 5:30-8 pm, with an optional 5:00 Brief presentation to parents from Mr. Terranova. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents/ guardians to meet their student's teachers in a virtual 1:1 setting. Parents/Guardians interested in attending will need to sign up below. Only parents/guardians who sign up will be offered meetings with their student's teacher.
Parents/guardians whose student had any grades lower than a "C-" on their Trimester 1 report card should attend Parent-Teacher Conferences. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Trimester 1 Report Cards will be mailed on Thursday. They will also be available in the Community Portal by Thursday at 9am (see below). This will allow you to understand exactly why your student is not meeting the grade in their class and how you can support him/her.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at: bterranova@capetech.us or at (508)432-4500 ext 2000.
Thank you,
William Terranova, Principal

Not sure how to use the Community Portal?
Click here for a link on how to use the Community Portal. This is a step-by-step guide on how to use our SchoolBrains Community Portal. Just follow the directions to access your student's grades, report cards, attendance and discipline reports.
How do Parent Teacher Conferences work this year?
Parents/guardians should have a list of their student's teacher on hand and click the link below. Parents/guardians will sign into
https://ptcfast.com/schools/Cape_Cod_Regional_Technical_High_School
where teachers are listed alphabetically by discipline/subject/shop. (For example is if you would like to meet with Mr. Dolan from Horticulture, you would find his name under Horticulture-Mr. Dolan.) You may sign up for multiple teachers and multiple students. After you sign up, you will receive an email with the link to the virtual meeting. Again by Tuesday, December 14th you will receive an email with the conference link. If not, please contact the teacher directly to see why you didn't receive one.
We limit conferences to 7 minutes to try to give as many parents a chance to speak to their student's instructor. This limits teachers to approximately 20 conferences for the evening, so please sign up as soon as possible. If your student's teacher is full, please reach out directly and they may have other opportunities to speak with you.
