4T DATA LITERACY CONFERENCE
A New, Free 4T Satellite Conference Coming July 14-15!
Join Us in Next Week for a new 4T Satellite Conference!
Do your high school students struggle to read and write with data across subject areas? Do they cherry-pick statistics they don't really understand and "like" corporate infographics without realizing they are advertising? Do you wish you could access data sets to add power to your curriculum area? Join a team of curious, inquisitive presenters from around the country as they explore how to support high school students in becoming savvier consumers and creators of data.
Registration is free, and so are SCECH continuing ed credits (minimum of 3; maximum of 12) for Michigan educators.
Visit the 4T Data Literacy Conference site to learn more and to register.
This conference is free and organized by the University of Michigan School of Information and the University of Michigan Library with technology support from the University of Michigan School of Education. The conference is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services RE-00-15-0113-15.
